Hello,

Welcome to the research site for Alex McHattie. I’ll be adding work as and when it gets completed for the MA creative music practice course I am currently studying on, in order to build up a nice body of easily accessible work for anybody who’s interested and so my tutor can see what I’ve been up to.

Most of the practical work for my university projects ends up being used in performances under my assumed alias of Smoo. A word which means hiding place and has come to represent a sonic retreat from which to escape from hectic daily life and big city living. They’ll be some links to music and live performances for you to enjoy should you wish, there will also be links to various different people who I work with.
